Mid Semester Break Part 2 (Sydney)

Once we landed in Sydney we spent the night relaxing and recovering in our hotel. The next morning we got up and explored the city walking over to the Opera House. We then headed to the Sydney Bridge Climb so we could climb the harbor bridge. The bridge climb was amazing. You could see all of the harbor and it was a beautiful day. We were incredibly lucky with weather on the trip, it only rained a little while we ere driving and not while we were out doing any activities (although there was lightning when our plane landed).

The next day we had a really early morning before heading on an all day tour to the Blue Mountains. The tour included a stop at an animal reserve where we were able to see tons of different, unique Australian animals. They had kangaroos and wallabies just walking around freely. After that we drove up into the Blue Mountains. The scenery was really pretty and we got to stop for a really good lunch at a fancy golf resort. Finally, we ended up at place called Scenic World, the lamest name imaginable. They had a cable car, gondola, and train all throughout the mountains and we got to go explore and see all of the nature. The trolley car from the bottom back up shot up very quickly at 52 degrees and was quite scary how steep it was.

That was pretty much it for Sydney as we left on the long trek to Bundaberg the next day.
